Refund Policy
The short version. If Plotloft isn't for you, email us within 14 days of your purchase and we'll refund you in full — no questions asked. Write to hello@plotloft.com from the address you bought with, and we'll take care of it.
We want you to try Plotloft with confidence. There's a free demo so you can see the app before you pay, and if you do buy and change your mind, this policy tells you exactly where you stand.
14-day, no-questions-asked refund
You may request a full refund of your Plotloft purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase, for any reason. You don't need to justify it — "it wasn't what I expected" is enough.
How to request a refund
- Email hello@plotloft.com, ideally from the email address you used to buy.
- Include your order/receipt number if you have it (it's on the receipt Paddle emailed you) — it helps us find your purchase faster, but it's not required.
- We'll confirm and process the refund.
How the refund is paid
Plotloft is sold through our reseller Paddle, the Merchant of Record for your purchase. Refunds are processed by Paddle back to your original payment method. Once approved, it typically takes a few business days for the money to appear, depending on your bank or card provider.
What happens to your licence
After a refund, your licence to use the paid version of Plotloft ends. Anything you've already written stays in your own files on your device — refunding your purchase does not touch your work (see our Licence Agreement).
Your statutory rights (EU / UK and beyond)
If you are a consumer, you may have a statutory right to cancel a purchase of digital content within a cooling-off period. For downloadable software, that right can normally end once the download begins and you've agreed to that — but our 14-day, no-questions-asked policy is more generous, and we honour it regardless. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
A quick ask about chargebacks
If something's wrong, please email us first — we'll almost always sort it out faster than a bank dispute can. We're a small operation and we genuinely want you happy with your purchase.
